Job Title : Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, MEAI

Location : Dubai

Reports to : Chief Financial Officer (CFO), MEAI

Role Overview :

The Supply Chain and Logistics Manager, MEAI, will play a pivotal role in optimizing Bulgari's supply chain and logistics operations in the Middle East, Africa, and India region. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), MEAI, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels across the supply chain.

Job responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Strategic Planning : Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain and logistics operations in alignment with Bulgari's business objectives.
  • Inventory Management : Oversee inventory planning, forecasting, and replenishment activities to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and stock outs.
  • Supplier Management : Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, negotiate favorable terms and conditions, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Logistics Operations : Develop and implement efficient logistics processes and transportation strategies to optimize freight costs, minimize lead times, and improve order fulfillment.
  • Warehousing and Distribution : Manage warehousing and distribution activities to ensure accurate and timely receipt, storage, and shipment of goods while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Performance Monitoring : Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the performance of the supply chain and logistics operations, analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to import / export regulations, customs clearance, and transportation safety standards. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to minimize disruptions.
  • Team Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to the supply chain and logistics team, foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, and support the professional development of team members.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, sales, and finance to optimize cross-functional processes and drive operational excellence.
  • Budget Management : Develop and manage the supply chain and logistics budget, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Profile

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics operations, preferably in the luxury retail industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles, logistics processes, and inventory management techniques.
  • Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages such as Arabic, Italian, Hindi or French are a plus.
