The Supply Chain Process Analyst plays a key role in optimizing procurement and supply chain operations across the organization. This position focuses on analyzing data, mapping processes and identifying improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs and support project delivery, especially within the dynamic context of the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze & Optimize End-to-End Processes: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing supply chain workflow, identify inefficiencies and drive optimization.
- Map Processes: Develop and document comprehensive "as-is" and "to-be" process maps for the entire integrated supply chain using appropriate tools.
- Identify Improvement Opportunities: Pinpoint specific areas for process enhancement, automation, and cost reduction across all supply chain functions.
- Design & Propose Solutions: Develop and recommend improved processes, policies, and procedures to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyse Supply Chain Data: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to inventory, logistics, procurement and workshop and present in intuitive format to gain actionable insights.
- Map Sub-Function Processes: Detail processes within specific supply chain sub-functions, including Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory & Warehouse Management, Planning and Workshop Operations.
- Visualize Planning Cycles: Document and analyze demand and supply planning cycles, including forecasting, S&OP, and material requirements planning.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with operations, IT, finance, and other departments to align on and implement process improvement initiatives.
- Problem-Solve & Troubleshoot: Investigate operational issues and provide data-driven solutions to resolve process breakdowns effectively.
- Report & Advise: Create and present clear reports and dashboards to stakeholders, highlighting process performance, recommendations, and the impact of changes, also performing any additional tasks as instructed by management.
Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field. Construction industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are a plus.
- 3+ years in supply chain or procurement analytics, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong skills in Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle).
- Solid understanding of procurement cycles, inventory control, and contractor/vendor management in construction projects.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Effective communicator, capable of working cross-functionally with engineering, site operations and finance teams.
- Proactive problem-solver, comfortable in fast-paced, project-driven environments.
