About the job:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply & Demand Analyst to join our growing team in the Food & Beverages industry. In this role, you will be responsible for forecasting product demand, monitoring supply levels, and optimizing inventory across the supply chain to ensure the availability of products while minimizing waste and cost. Your insights will directly support production planning, procurement, and sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate short-, medium-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and input from sales and marketing.
- Analyze supply chain capacity, production capabilities, and raw material availability to create balanced supply plans.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, identifying potential shortages or surpluses and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, sales, and logistics teams to align supply plans with business objectives.
- Track promotional activities, seasonality, and new product launches, adjusting forecasts and supply plans accordingly.
- Utilize ERP and demand planning software to manage data and generate actionable insights.
- Prepare and present regular reports on forecast accuracy, supply performance, and inventory KPIs.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance planning efficiency and data accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in demand planning, supply analysis, or inventory management, preferably within the Food & Beverages industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid understanding of supply chain dynamics.
- Proficiency in Excel, and experience with forecasting tools and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of perishable goods management is a strong advantage.
