Job summary

Grüns is seeking a Supplier Quality Specialist to own end-to-end supplier qualification, audit coordination, and SCAR management across its supplier network, including comanufacturers and distributors.

The role requires HACCP and Internal Auditor certifications, experience with GFSI schemes, and the ability to travel monthly to facilities. You will build supplier scorecards and verify regulatory compliance for launches and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in supplier quality, food safety, QA, or supply chain compliance.
• HACCP certification with hands-on experience in a supplier or manufacturing environment.
• Internal Auditor certification with experience leading real audits.
• Experience working within a GFSI certification scheme (SQF, BRCGS, FSSC 22000, or similar).
• Experience managing supplier audits and corrective action processes.
• Knowledge of FDA food safety regulations and supplier verification requirements.
• Ability to travel monthly to facilities across states.

Responsibilities

• Own the supplier qualification program end to end, covering suppliers, comanufacturers, copackers, laboratories, and distribution partners.
• Conduct and coordinate on-site audits across the facility network, including distribution centers and comanufacturer bases.
• Lead supplier corrective action (SCAR) management from root cause investigation through effectiveness verification.
• Build and maintain supplier scorecards and run routine performance reviews.
• Verify GFSI, cGMP, food safety, and regulatory compliance at supplier and comanufacturer sites.
• Support new supplier onboarding and quality readiness for new product launches.
• Travel monthly to supplier and comanufacturer facilities for check-ins and full audits.
