Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in mechanical, civil, logistics, or electrical engineering.
• At least three years of related experience or solid engineering knowledge.
• Experience in project management is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD software (AutoCAD) preferred.
• Valid UAE driving license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, organize, coordinate and supervise inspections and repairs.
• Ensure engineering and manufacturing specs are reviewed for compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers for rejected remanufactured parts.
• Supervise the quality of repaired items during the warranty period.
• Work with suppliers to address spare parts failures.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and analyze data as required.
• Oversee supply of spare parts for the repair process.
• Provide technical advice on materials engineering and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze test results and conduct training as required.
• Maintain records of test results and actions taken.
• Facilitate corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company information.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, plan, organize, coordinate and supervise all inspections and repairs.


• Ensure that engineering and manufacturing specifications are reviewed to ensure compliance at all times and complete the job successfully.


• Coordinate with suppliers for rejected remanufactured parts.


• Supervise the quality of repaired items during the warranty period.


• Work with the supplier directly to address spare parts failure.


• Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to management and analyze data as required.


• Supervise the supply of spare parts for the repair process.


• Provide technical advice to other departments in matters related to materials engineering and maintaining compliance with regulations.


• Analyzing test results and conducting training for relevant personnel as required.


• Maintain records of test results and all actions taken.


• Facilitate corrective actions for supplier quality issues.


• Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company information.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree is required. Preferably in mechanical, civil, logistics, or electrical engineering.


• A minimum of three years of similar experience or with knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and practices is required.


• Experience in project management is an advantage.


• Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and computer-aided design (CAD) or AutoCAD preferred.


• Have, or are able to obtain a valid driving license in the UAE.
