Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced engineer to design, plan, organize, coordinate and supervise all inspections and repairs, ensuring compliance with engineering and manufacturing specifications.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in engineering, at least three years' relevant experience, familiarity with CAD/AutoCAD, MS Office, and driving license in UAE; project management experience is a plus, and you will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, logistics, or electrical engineering.
• Minimum of three years of similar engineering experience.
• Experience in project management is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office; CAD or AutoCAD preferred.
• Have, or be able to obtain a valid driving license in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, organize, coordinate and supervise all inspections and repairs.
• Review engineering and manufacturing specifications for compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers for rejected remanufactured parts.
• Supervise quality of repaired items during the warranty period.
• Work with suppliers to address spare parts failure.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports and analyze data.
• Supervise the supply of spare parts for the repair process.
• Provide technical advice to other departments on materials engineering and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze test results and conduct training for relevant personnel.
• Maintain records of test results and actions taken.
• Facilitate corrective actions for supplier quality issues.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of company information.

• Coordinate with suppliers for rejected remanufactured parts.
• Supervise the quality of repaired items during the warranty period.
• Work with the supplier directly to address spare parts failure.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports related to management and analyze data as required.
• Supervise the supply of spare parts for the repair process.
• Provide technical advice to other departments in matters related to materials engineering and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required. Preferably in mechanical, civil, logistics, or electrical engineering.
• A minimum of three years of similar experience or with knowledge of engineering principles, theories, and practices is required.
• Experience in project management is an advantage.
