Job summary

Dubai Holding Entertainment is seeking a Supervisor – Guest Operations to lead frontline teams at Roxy Cinemas, oversee shift operations, and ensure safety and service standards across daily cinema activities.

You will partner with the Cinema Manager to drive guest satisfaction, manage cash handling and reporting, and support promotional events, delivering a memorable cinema experience for diverse guests.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in cinema or guest services.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent customer service and guest engagement skills.
• Experience with cash handling and shift-based operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of Vista ticketing systems or similar POS platforms.
• Understanding of health, safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily cinema operations to deliver exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
• Lead, motivate, and develop Guest Operations Associates to achieve performance and service targets.
• Support the Cinema Manager in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor operational, safety, and security standards to provide a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
• Oversee cash handling, reporting, stock control, and operational audits to maintain business integrity.
• Drive guest satisfaction by proactively resolving issues and enhancing the overall cinema experience.
• Ensure facilities, equipment, and operational assets are maintained and functioning effectively.
• Support promotional activities, alternative content events, and cinema programming requirements.
• Utilize operational systems, including ticketing and reporting platforms, to monitor performance and operational efficiency.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance team culture aligned with company values.

About the Job:

As a Supervisor – Guest Operations, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of Roxy Cinemas. You will lead frontline teams, oversee shift operations, ensure compliance with safety and operational standards, and support the Cinema Management team in achieving business objectives.

About You:

• High School Diploma; additional certification or diploma in Hospitality, Business, Retail, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience within the cinema, entertainment, hospitality, retail, or guest service industry.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent customer service and guest engagement skills.
• Experience managing operational procedures, cash handling, and shift-based environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse teams.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational systems.
• Previous experience within a premium cinema, entertainment, leisure, or hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of Vista ticketing systems or similar POS/ticketing platforms.
• Understanding of health, safety, and compliance standards.
• Experience supporting revenue generation, merchandising, and food & beverage operations.
• Ability to analyze operational performance and implement service improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and develop frontline teams.
• Passion for movies, entertainment, and creating memorable guest experiences.
