Supervise and perform maintenance of electrical equipment in the plant to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and integrity.
Job Specific Accountabilities (Part 1)
- Ensure availability of required resources for electrical equipment maintenance and schedule expectations to complete jobs safely and on time.
- Plan, schedule, execute, and supervise preventive and predictive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting of equipment to ensure reliability and safe operations.
- Inspect and follow up on task progress, providing reports to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Provide technical support, prepare scope of work, manage contracts, report costs, and participate in negotiations for equipment repairs to meet standards and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to the development of critical maintenance procedures and risk assessments for electrical tasks, investigate equipment failures to identify root causes, and suggest control measures.
- Maintain up-to-date maintenance records, fault reports, logbooks, and update equipment databases and histories for effective management.
- Authorize electrical isolation certificates and work permits to ensure safe operations.
- Participate in daily and weekly safety toolbox talks to discuss safety procedures and job methods.
- Supervise testing and commissioning of new or modified equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and executing shutdowns and major overhauls.
- Monitor the availability of tools, equipment, and parts for scheduled jobs to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and issue lists of spares, tools, and materials required for maintenance jobs, and inspect new materials for specifications and suitability.

Qualifications & Work Conditions
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Physical effort is minimal; work environment includes A/C and occasional site visits with weather exposure.
