Job summary

A defense contractor in Abu Dhabi is seeking a skilled technician to supervise aircraft maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience with pneumatic components and a strong background in technical training and maintenance management. Responsibilities include guiding personnel, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and conducting trend analysis for maintenance operations. A high school diploma and formal training in hydraulic systems are required.

Job description
Overview

Assist the Workshops Management to accomplish aviation unit and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft components.

Responsibilities
  • Supervises and provides technical guidance to subordinate personnel performing maintenance on aircraft pneudraulic equipment.
  • Evaluates maintenance operations and facilities for compliance with directives, technical manuals, work standards, safety procedures, and operational policies.
  • Ensures subordinates manage all forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751 and related publications.
  • Performs maintenance trend analysis and applies production control, quality control, and other maintenance management principles to aircraft armament maintenance and shop operations.
  • Instructs personnel and conducts technical training on aircraft armament maintenance, supply and safety techniques.
  • Evaluates the technical training program on host nation personnel.
  • Serves as the focal point for all parts, tools, shop stock and supply requisitions.
  • Maintains accountability for all tools and equipment assigned to the shop.
  • Keeps a current technical library in accordance with shop mission and equipment.
  • Responsible for all safety matters of personnel and equipment assigned to the Pneudraulics Workshop.
  • Responsible for oversight, guidance and counseling of all personnel assigned to them.
  • Responsible for enhancement Shop\'s capabilities.
