Job summary

Citco in Abu Dhabi seeks a skilled accounting professional to lead the Monthly Net Asset Value package, including cash and portfolio reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation for hedge funds and private equity funds.

You will collaborate with senior management, manage client relationships, support external audits, review capital calls and distributions, and coordinate across Citco groups to ensure timely, accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• University degree in accounting, finance, economics or equivalent professional designation.
• Experience in financial services, hedge funds or private equity funds; supervisory experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel) and Outlook; strong financial reporting and analytical abilities.
• Proven ability to work in a challenging, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Monthly Net Asset Value package, including cash/portfolio reconciliations and accruals.
• Interact with senior management and clients; manage client relationships and transitions.
• Coordinate, manage, and monitor external audit processes.
• Review notices for capital calls and distributions on fund holdings.
• Provide technical accounting knowledge to clients and collaborate across teams.
• Review partnership agreements and fund materials; implement fund structures on Citco systems.
• Daily interaction with P&L team on valuations and price analysis.

About The Team & Business Line

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Oversee and deliver the Monthly Net Asset Value package, which includes: Cash and Portfolio Reconciliations, Income and Expense Accruals, Partner/Shareholder Allocation calculations (where applicable), Financial Statement preparation and prepare and review trial balances and workpapers. You will manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables
• Interact with senior management and clients; overall responsibility for client relationships and meetings; establish plan for new client setup and transitions.
• Coordinate, manage, and monitor external audit process
• Review and process notices received for capital calls and distributions on underlying portfolio Fund holdings
• Place outbound phone calls to clients in response to written inquiries, or to obtain clarification on transaction processing requests; Provide technical accounting/industry knowledge to clients.
• Coordinate with Operations group, Tax group, Investor Relations group, Financial Statement group, and other groups at Citco.
• Review partnership agreements, PPMs, and other materials.
• Be part of the Implementation of fund structures on Citco’s proprietary accounting system.
• Interact daily with PandL team on valuations and price analysis.

Qualifications

About You:

• University degree in accounting, finance, economics; or professional accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA, CPA, CFA)
• Experience in financial services industry, particularly with hedge funds and/or private equity funds You have extensive Supervisory and Managerial experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook Demonstrated financial reporting / analytical / organizational skills
• Proven ability to work in a challenging, professional and deadline driven work environment.
