Job description

ISS International S.p.A. Abu Dhabi Branch is looking for a Subsea Pipeline Pre-commissioning Engineer.

Candidates should have at least five years of experience in Subsea Projects within the O&G Industry.

Responsibilities

  1. Be responsible for interfacing with, providing inputs to, and reviewing documents issued by departments such as Detail Design, Interface, Installation Engineering, and Fabrication.
  2. Prepare the pre-commissioning plan, philosophy, specifications, and requisitions for pre-commissioning activities.
  3. Specify and follow up on procurement, fabrication, and mobilization of installation aids required for pre-commissioning.
  4. Review and approve procedures and clarifications/qualifications.
  5. Coordinate interfaces between equipment spreads and the vessels for mobilization.
  6. Supervise pre-commissioning activities performed by the team on-site, whether offshore, onshore, or on installation vessels.
  7. Assist the Installation Manager with operation scheduling and modifications.
  8. Attend meetings with the client regarding issues arising during pre-commissioning and commissioning.
  9. Set up and manage the mechanical completion system according to COMPANY’s specifications during operations.

  • Envisaged Starting Date: April 2025
  • Duration: 12 months, with potential extension
  • Working Schedule: 9 hours/day, 5 days/week
  • Rotation: Resident with 30 holidays/year
