What we can offer
The key objectives for this role are :
Responsible for the development, negotiation and finalisation of contract terms for procured items and subcontracted services, including several large-scale construction subcontracts. In some instances, this will also include financial guarantees (e.g. bonds / letters of credit) and collateral warranties for the benefit or Wood and / or the ultimate client.
Provides support and contractual advice to the project team in relation to the ongoing negotiation and award process and, where required, post award administration of purchase orders and subcontracts.
Clear understanding of the client's head contract requirements including Wood responsibilities and knowledge of how these are integrated into project subcontract strategies, plans, procedures and terms and conditions. Possesses in-depth knowledge of contract terms, collaborates with Wood's commercial and technical teams to offer recommendations for a strong commercial agreement.
Delivers clear and concise reports on progress of all activities for which they are responsible. Ensures direct reports (if applicable) regularly update reports / systems with required information to allow accurate reporting and escalates any critical issues and risks to project and commercial management.
