Job Description

• Develop and manage subcontracts for construction projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential subcontractors, assessing their capabilities and past performance.
• Prepare and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), analyzing bids and negotiating terms to secure the best value for the organization.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to contract terms, timelines, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align subcontracting strategies with overall project objectives and timelines.
• Implement and manage risk assessment processes for subcontract agreements, identifying potential issues and establishing mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate effective communication between subcontractors and project teams to resolve issues and streamline project execution.
• Maintain accurate documentation of subcontractor agreements, changes, and performance metrics for auditing purposes.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all subcontracting activities.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on subcontractor performance, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), Construction Management, or a related field is essential.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in subcontract management within the oil & gas construction sector is required, with the ability to handle subcontract agreements.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Manager or equivalent) are highly regarded.
• Experience with contract negotiation and management, specifically in large-scale projects, is crucial.
