Title:Subcontracts Coordinator
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil, scaffolding, insulation, Painting and mechanical works.
- Evaluate and verify contractor invoices, claims, and variations; prepare payment certificates.
- Conduct regular site measurements and track work progress against BOQs and project milestones.
- Liaise with project management, procurement, and engineering teams to monitor budgets and control costs.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing subcontractor and vendor contracts.
- Maintain updated cost reports, forecasts, and trend analyses for management review.
- Participate in project meetings and provide commercial input regarding work scope changes.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, standards, and contract conditions.
- Support in preparation of final accounts and project close-out documentation.
- Evaluate tender submissions and prepare cost comparison sheets when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in the oil & gas or petrochemical sector, preferably within an industrial plant or refinery environment.
- Strong understanding of scaffolding standards, insulation types, painting systems, and civil work procedures.
- Experience with SATORP or Aramco projects is a significant advantage.
- Proficient in MS Excel.
- Excellent knowledge of contractual terms, FIDIC/Aramco/SATORP contracting practices, and cost control techniques.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
