Job summary

Aldar Education is seeking a Classroom Assistant (UAE National) for Bateen World Academy in Abu Dhabi for the 2026-2027 academic year. The school is a British and IB World School offering PYP, DP and CP, providing an all-through education from FS1 to Year 13.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary school certificate.
• At least two years’ experience in a school setting.
• English language skills according to the school curriculum.
• UAE National preferred.
• Ability to support pupils with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for individual pupils / groups inside and outside the classroom to enable participation in activities and wellbeing.
• Be proactive in health and safety matters.
• Assist in implementing education programmes and monitor pupil progress.
• Support pupils with additional needs and develop social skills.
• Assist teachers with maintaining pupil records.
• Prepare and present displays of pupils’ work.
• Support teachers with photocopying and other tasks to support teaching.
• Comply with school policies, health and safety requirements.
