The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents and staff, uphold the school's values, and help coordinate events and year‑group activities while maintaining accurate records and timely communications.

Qualifications

• School leavers certificate or equivalent
• English and Mathematics to GCSE or equivalent
• Front of house/administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Effective, sensitive and personable communication with students, parents and staff.
• Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships with others and maintain them over time.
• Support of reception staff and attendance officer regarding students whereabouts.
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Keeping abreast of internal events and identifying and managing clashes of venues / year groups and times.
• Ensuring all pastoral information and data is accurate, timely, approved, reliable, clear and fit for purpose.
• Ensure reward certificates are uploaded to ePraise and printed for Heads of Year and Heads of Key Stage.

Responsibilities

Main Duties:

• Effective, sensitive and personable communication skills with students, parents and staff. Communication may be in written form, e-mail, via phone or in person.
• Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships by developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
• Support of reception staff and attendance officer in regards to students whereabouts.
• Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
• Keeping abreast of internal events and identifying and managing clashes of venues / year groups and times.
• Ensuring all pastoral information and data is: accurate, timely, approved, reliable, clear and fit for purpose. E.g.attendance, punctuality, internal interventions and rewards.
• Ensure reward certificates are uploaded to ePraise and printed for Heads of Year and Heads of Key Stage.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• School leavers certificate or educational equivalent
• English and Mathematics to GCSE or equivalent

Minimum Experience

• Relevant Experience
• Currently or previously a front of house assistant, secretary, clerical, office or administration assistant

Job Specific Knowledge & Skills

• Computer literate including the use of Isams, Microsoft, Canva or other design programmes
• IT literate: knowledge and expertise of office procedures and appropriate software including Microsoft Office
• Commitment to continuing professional development (CPD)
