Student Recruitment Officer

We are looking for a talented Student Recruitment Officer to join the American University in the Emirates. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating all activities related to student recruitment, and providing advice, guidance, and assistance regarding the application process and documentation for admissions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Media and Communication, or a related field
• Fluent in both English and Arabic
• 3 to 5 years of experience in student recruitment and enrollment at a reputable university

Skills / Training / Knowledge

• Knowledge of various marketing strategies (P2P, B2B, Online, and Traditional Media)
• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, written and spoken
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Understanding of the UAE higher education sector

Job Responsibilities

• Welcoming new students and addressing inquiries from students and parents
• Conducting campus tours for new students to familiarize them with AUE facilities, departments, and services
• Participating in education and career exhibitions locally and internationally
• Delivering professional presentations to stakeholders across the UAE and Middle East
• Handling and processing new student application files
• Organizing orientation activities for new students, including workshops and presentations
• Planning and coordinating university events and maintaining logs and data entries
• Facilitating onboarding processes such as housing, visas, and tuition payments
• Providing high-quality customer service to students, parents, and educational staff
• Identifying and securing funding sources aligned with the university’s mission and fundraising plans
• Building relationships with donors and ensuring their ongoing engagement
• Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors
