Job Overview
The Structured Trade Finance Specialist - Abu Dhabi UAE acts as a product expert for structured trade and commodity finance. The role includes origination, deal structuring, documentation, and risk evaluation. It requires a deep understanding of complex financial structures including borrowing base, inventory financing, credit-insured structures, and cross-border solutions.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with relationship managers to originate and structure tailored trade finance solutions
* Lead end-to-end execution of structured deals including negotiation, documentation, and closure
* Assist in structuring transactions such as prepayments, borrowing base, and inventory finance
* Manage transactions referred by clients, banks, and financial institutions
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders including credit, legal, and compliance for onboarding and risk evaluation
* Participate in external meetings with clients, legal advisors, consultants, and other parties
* Draft term sheets and support the preparation of credit applications for structured solutions
* Monitor risk parameters and ensure measures are in place for mitigation
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of trade products and market competitiveness
* Support revenue growth through structured solutions aligned with risk-adjusted return targets
* Engage in industry events and stay updated on market trends and competitor strategies
* Support account planning with Coverage teams to drive wallet share for complex trade transactions

Job Requirements

* Bachelor s degree in finance, economics, commerce, or a related discipline
* Minimum 10 years of experience in transaction banking, with specialized expertise in structured trade and commodity finance
* Strong background in trade product origination, structuring, and client relationship management
* Familiarity with credit insurance, borrowing base models, and PXF structures
* Ability to lead cross-functional deal discussions and manage transaction lifecycle
* Strong communication, negotiation, and financial analysis skills
