Overview

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with opportunities across multiple locations, preferably Ras Al Khaimah or Dubai. The role involves structural design review, site supervision, and coordination with architects, consultants, and project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of concrete and steel structures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, hands‑on site experience, and the ability to optimize designs while meeting project timelines, budget, and international standards.

Responsibilities

• Visit sites to review any risk/discrepancies on structural drawings / execution process and apprise project team and provide technical support to site engineers and field supervisors.
• Represent project team in client/consultant meetings on structural designs and execution progress of the projects.
• Analyze configurations of basic structural components of buildings or other structures and advise project team and management.
• Liaise with other designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs that fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
• Examine design and construction of structures and advise project team how to improve structural integrity.
• Investigate ground conditions and analyze results of site tests, such as soil samples before start of projects.
• Liaise and supervise subcontractors to ensure that their work schedules are structurally sound.
• Review design, drawings and prepare structural shop drawings for the projects and coordinate/advise the architects/draftsman accordingly.
• Optimize existing design concepts to meet building technology or budget.
• Assist project team in forming project requirements.
• Prepare and submit regular and periodical reports on designs and site structural progress to the engineering manager and project team.
• Review tender structural drawings and actively involve in estimation process.
• Perform additional duties as directed by engineering manager and project team.
• Promote QHSE and ISMS policies within the company and ensure that the quality, environmental, health, safety and information security management system procedures are followed at all times, striving for continuous improvement until the effectiveness of the integrated management system is achieved.

Accountabilities

• Ensure zero‑error design and execution of concrete structures, meeting quality standards of client/consultants.
• Ensure information security management system is implemented at the project.

Qualifications

Graduate in Structural Engineering/Civil Engineering or any other relevant discipline from a reputed university with sound academic merit. Over 6 years of experience.
