Job summary

CELESTAL seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to support offshore projects, focusing on topsides and jackets. You will perform analyses, design and verification, and prepare technical reports and specs.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Structural background, 5+ years offshore, and proficiency with SACS, STAAD Pro or SESAM. EPC/EPCI exposure and strong coordination skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 5+ years offshore structural experience on topsides and jackets.
• Proficient in SACS, STAAD Pro, or SESAM.
• Knowledge of API, DNV, ISO, and AISC codes.
• Experience in EPC/EPCI projects is desirable.
• Strong communication and multidisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, calculations, design, verification for offshore structures.

• Review steel design drawings and material take-offs.

Are you an experienced Structural Engineer with strong offshore experience? We are looking for a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team and support offshore projects.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform structural analysis, calculations, design, verification, and related engineering studies for offshore structures.
• Design offshore structural systems and components, with a focus on topsides and jacket structures, ensuring safety, constructability, fabrication simplicity, and cost optimization.
• Prepare design reports, structural calculation notes, specifications, and contribute to the Project Structural Design Brief.
• Supervise and approve steel structure design drawings, and oversee the development of Bill of Quantities and Material Take-Offs.
• Interface with project specialists, designers, vendors, and other disciplines to ensure smooth execution of assigned engineering activities.
• Provide technical support during construction, installation, or commissioning phases when required.

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree is preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of experience in offshore structural engineering, particularly on topsides and jacket structures.

Software: Strong proficiency in structural analysis software such as SACS, STAAD Pro, or SESAM.

Codes & Standards: Good knowledge of international codes and standards such as API, DNV, ISO, and AISC.

Project Environment: Experience in EPC or EPCI projects is highly desirable.

Soft Skills: Strong communication and coordination skills in multidisciplinary project environments.
