Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Structural Engineer with a proven track record in overseeing the structural aspects of high-rise building projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices, coupled with a strong understanding of site operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the construction of iconic skyscrapers in one of the world's most dynamic and fast-paced construction environments.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide expert guidance and oversight on all structural engineering aspects of high-rise building projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
2. Collaborate closely with design and construction teams to review and evaluate structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
3. Conduct thorough site inspections to assess structural integrity, identify potential risks, and propose effective solutions to mitigate them.
4. Monitor the progress of structural works onsite, ensuring adherence to approved designs, specifications, and quality standards.
5. Work closely with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve structural-related issues during construction.
6. Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, and material submittals related to structural works.
7. Conduct regular structural assessments and recommend strengthening or modifications as necessary.
8. Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and correspondence related to structural engineering activities.
9. Act as a technical liaison between the project team, clients, and relevant authorities, addressing structural-related queries promptly.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputable institution; master's degree is a plus.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.
3. Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, focusing on high-rise building projects in the UAE.
4. Proven track record of delivering structural solutions for buildings ranging from 70 to 80 floors.
5. In-depth knowledge of UAE building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
6. Strong proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar.
7. Excellent communication skills for liaising with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders.
8. Sound understanding of site operations, construction methodologies, and safety protocols.
9. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
