Job summary

IRTH Group in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman to join our team. The role focuses on creating detailed structural shop drawings from BIM models, coordinating with engineers and architects, and maintaining documentation.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 7 years of structural drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and knowledge of Revit.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or related technical field.
• 7+ years of experience in structural drafting.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other 3D software is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

As a Structural Draftsman at IRTH, your primary responsibility will be to create detailed structural shop drawings and assist in the management of documentation for our innovative building solutions.

Technical Requirements

• Prepare detailed structural Revit model and generate shop drawings through this model, including plans, sections, and elevations, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Experienced to work with BIM, Autodesk ACC, and model collaboration.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers and architects to develop accurate models and drawings.
• Revise construction documents based on engineer feedback and project updates.
• Maintain an organized filing system for drawings and project documentation, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.
• Ensure timely completion of drafting assignments according to project schedules and deadlines.
• Utilize Revit and CAD software for rapid drafting and design iteration.
