Responsibilities

We are seeking a talented Structural Engineer (Design) to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

Success in this role includes:

• Assisting senior staff in analysis and design of structures.
• Preparing design documentation.
• Coordinating structural design information with other disciplines.
• Participating in departmental QA/QC processes.
• Selecting viable structural concepts.
• Preparing design criteria reports.
• Developing structural analysis models.
• Designing structural elements.
• Ensuring design requirements are clearly indicated on drawings.
• Creating complete designs from concept to final for simple projects, under guidance.
• Collaborating with other disciplines and project managers.
• Visiting construction sites to clarify design requirements and monitor adherence.
• Responding to site RFIs.
• Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications

To succeed, you should have:

• 7-10 years of relevant experience.
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project.
• Experience with structural analysis and design software such as STAAD, ROBOT, ETABS, SAFE, ADAPT, AutoCAD, REVIT.
