Aleroy is seeking a senior strategy and operations leader to join the COO's team. You will scope and own critical company problems, drive them to completion, and establish processes with accountable owners.
Your work will span planning, board-ready materials, and cross-team initiatives with a strong emphasis on leveraging AI tools to improve workflows. Expect a dynamic role where priorities shift, requiring deep ownership, clear communication with founders and investors, and the ability to
Aleroy is building a unified platform for high-performance AI inference, making it easier for companies to deploy and run AI models at scale.
Through a single API, Aleroy provides access to ready-to-use and custom AI models across cloud infrastructure, dedicated capacity, and customers' own hardware. Our platform optimizes performance, cost, and deployment flexibility while giving enterprises control over where and how their AI workloads run.
We work in small teams, collaborate directly, and focus on solving complex engineering challenges to build reliable, scalable AI infrastructure.
You join the COO's team as a senior individual contributor. We send you to the company's most important problems, often ones that have no clear owner yet. You scope the problem, own it until it works, and leave behind a process and an owner that keep it running. Then you take the next one.
Priorities change, so the mix of your work will change too. Some months you will mostly run company planning. Other months you will be building a model for the board, setting up a new process with a vendor, or getting a cross-team project over the line.
The founders are ambitious and move fast, and goals can shift. A good version of this job writes a neat plan of who should do what. A great version understands what the founders are really trying to achieve, matches it to the people and capacity we actually have, sets goals that stretch the team but can be delivered, and then helps deliver them.
Run the company's operating rhythm: quarterly goals, the weekly leadership review, and follow-up on decisions until they are done.
Own two or three company priorities at a time, from first scoping to a working process with a named owner.
Build the analysis and documents that founders, the board and investors rely on, including financial and operating models.
Deal directly with partners, vendors, advisors and investors on the work you own.
Stand up new processes or functions, and hire or hand over to the permanent owner when one is needed.
Use AI tools to build your own workflows, and help the team work the same way.
Taking a security certification programme from plan to audit readiness.
Setting up how finance, legal, HR and IT work together across the group.
Preparing board and investor materials, and the data behind them.
Setting up a new process with an outside provider and making sure it holds.
6 to 10 years in strategy and operations. A strong profile combines consulting with startup business operations, a CEO or COO office, or a Chief of Staff role.
A record of owning results, not only recommending them.
Executive-level written English. Your memos and decision papers go to founders without edits.
You think from first principles. You break a problem down to what is actually true, instead of copying how others solved it.
You build financial and operating models and you check them.
You learn new fields fast. You can tell us about something hard you taught yourself recently, and how.
You stay steady when priorities change, and you help the team stay steady too. You get work done across teams without formal authority.
You are at ease with senior people outside the company: partners, investors, advisors.
You use AI tools every day and build your own ways of working with them.
Experience in the Gulf.
Background in technology, AI infrastructure, gaming or Web3.
Experience preparing a company for a funding round, an audit or a certification
