Experience and Competencies Requirements :

  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in corporate strategy, business planning, or management consulting, with at least 5 years in the retail, consumer goods, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale strategic initiatives, digital growth strategies, and market entry plans.
  • Deep understanding of retail trends, consumer behavior, omnichannel models, and brand strategy.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to work cross-functionally with merchandising, marketing, operations, and digital teams.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience reporting to board-level stakeholders.

Functional Description :

  • Define and drive the long-term strategic agenda of the retail group across all business units and channels.
  • Lead the annual corporate planning cycle, including market assessments, opportunity sizing, and risk analysis.
  • Evaluate potential mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and brand launches aligned with the group’s vision.
  • Develop performance dashboards, KPIs, and strategic scorecards to monitor and report on execution.
  • Champion digital innovation by aligning e-commerce, CRM, and data analytics with customer and commercial goals.
  • Support international expansion efforts through market feasibility, entry strategy, and localization planning.
  • Collaborate with brand leaders to develop customer experience strategies and commercial roadmaps.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership on strategic priorities, market shifts, and innovation.
