Strategy and Business Management Analyst (AVP)
Overview
The newly created role will report to the Head of Business Management for Strategic Growth Markets (SGM) and will primarily support business management and strategy execution for SGM, which includes the Middle East & North Africa, Latin America, and Nordics regions. The Chief of Staff (COS) function plays a critical role in realizing SGM's strategy, achieving its objectives, and managing all business aspects of the region.
What you will be responsible for
- Shape and support the development of the business strategy, including periodic reviews for the region, and ensure alignment with the global strategy.
- Engage in business-level strategic planning, aligning group goals with the overall strategy and goals of State Street.
- Collaborate closely with the global strategy team to track and execute strategic initiatives.
- Provide targeted ad-hoc support, such as strategy off-sites, Investor Relations presentations, and Board strategy materials.
- Support the development of the business strategy by executing periodic reviews for the region and aligning with the global strategy.
- Create and reinforce the linkage between global and regional strategies.
- Proactively bring industry and business insights to assist management in shaping strategy and provide independent views and challenges to these plans.
- Business Management:
- Ensure timely production of management reports, insights, and dashboards.
- Coordinate pipeline reporting between sales and executives to monitor progress on key opportunities.
- Oversee and enhance existing MI reporting to ensure relevance and streamline processes.
- Work closely with management to develop regional goals, track performance, and monitor execution, including mid-year and year-end performance reviews.
- Build strong relationships with other corporate groups (e.g., Strategy, Finance, CAO) to drive common priorities.
- Support and produce materials for governance, committee processes, operating policies, and procedures to improve effectiveness, mitigate risks, and accelerate decision-making; proactively identify issues and engage in collaborative problem-solving.
