Job description
Overview

Help AG is looking for a talented Strategic Vendor Intern who will learn internal and external processes to provide strategic insights and feedback to the Vendor Management team. The SVMI will contribute to operational tasks and admin work to ensure compliance and processes are followed. Additionally, the intern will build relationships with Help AG Group’s strategic vendor partners. There will be a focus on Help AG’s business and ensuring that all internal stakeholders are in alignment with business direction and committed requirements. This position will also be responsible for all tactical aspects relating to the development of new initiatives and implementation of new programs and services.

Responsibilities
  • Work with SVM to track and report on the performance of selected vendors to ensure delivery in line with contractual obligations and performance metrics.
  • Understand back-end rebate programs, commercial terms, and key projects for supply and support to exceed Help AG’s business objectives.
  • Build relationships with external vendors and suppliers as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Learn how to conduct quarterly business reviews with vendors to address issues and explore new opportunities to improve program profitability.
  • Identify improvement areas internally and work closely with internal stakeholders to prepare solutions.
  • Learn outward communication to vendors to facilitate understanding and awareness of organizational strategic direction, changes and challenges.
  • Support the SVM in the interaction between vendors and internal stakeholders within Help AG to provide adequate visibility of interdependent initiatives and programs.
  • Develop ongoing partnership-based relationships to obtain regular updates on the status of programs.
  • Improve efficiency in backend and operational tasks to support Vendor Coordinator Specialist.
