EDGE, headquartered in the United Arab Emirates, seeks a seasoned Procurement Specialist for CNC machining, casting, and fabrication. You will source, negotiate, and manage suppliers, supporting propulsion development programs with a deep understanding of drawings, materials, lead times, and cost drivers.

The role requires 7+ years in technically complex manufacturing procurement, with hands-on CNC, casting, and fabrication experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of procurement, sourcing, or supply-chain experience in technically complex manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on procurement experience with CNC machining, casting, and fabrication suppliers.
• Strong knowledge of manufactured and engineered components.
• Experience in aerospace/defence, propulsion, or advanced manufacturing desirable.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, materials, and production lead times.
• Experience negotiating with machine shops, foundries, fabrication companies, and specialist suppliers.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or equivalent.
• Knowledge of supplier qualification, FAI, AS9100 advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end sourcing and procurement of CNC-machined, cast, and fabricated components.
• Develop RFQs and obtain quotations from qualified local and international suppliers.
• Conduct commercial and technical bid evaluations with Engineering and Quality.
• Issue purchase orders and manage orders through manufacture, inspection, delivery, and closure.
• Support make-or-buy and sourcing-strategy decisions for manufactured components.
