Job summary

La Pizarra Arte & Cultura seeks a Supply Chain Director to lead strategy, procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and distribution for efficient, cost-effective operations in the UAE. You will establish KPIs, manage supplier relations, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.

The role requires extensive senior leadership experience, strong ERP skills (SAP/Oracle), and deep knowledge of UAE/GCC customs and logistics practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Extensive experience in supply chain management and senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, inventory, warehousing, and distribution.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing and supplier management.
• Strong negotiation, commercial, financial, and cost-control skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of supply chain risk management and business continuity.
• Understanding of UAE/GCC customs, import, export, and logistics practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee procurement, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and distribution.
• Establish supply chain KPIs, performance targets, and improvement plans.
• Manage supplier selection, evaluation, negotiations, and relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels, demand forecasts, purchasing, and replenishment.
• Optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
• Manage supply chain risks, disruptions, and contingency plans.
• Coordinate with sales, finance, operations, production, and other departments.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and contractual compliance.
• Oversee budgets, spending, forecasts, and supply chain costs.
• Implement ERP, procurement, and supply chain technology solutions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE import, export, customs, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare supply chain reports, forecasts, and management recommendations.
