Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Subcontracts Manager to lead the end-to-end subcontract lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contract law and company policies. You will develop strategies to optimize cost, schedule and quality, negotiate complex agreements, and oversee subcontractor selection and performance to meet project goals in the construction sector.

The role requires a deep understanding of procurement principles and at least 20 years of relevant experience,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
CPCM certification or similar.
20+ years of progressive subcontract management experience in construction or related industry.
Deep understanding of contract law, procurement principles, and subcontracting best practices.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the subcontract lifecycle from solicitation to closeout.
Develop subcontracting strategies aligned with project goals to optimize cost, schedule and quality.
Negotiate complex subcontract agreements including pricing, terms and conditions to secure favorable outcomes.
Oversee the selection and evaluation of subcontractors to meet qualifications and performance standards.
