Job summary

Wood is seeking a Lead Project Engineer (Risk Management) to provide specialist risk support across the MEAC region. You will report to the Head of Risk - MEAC and play a pivotal role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across major oil, gas and energy projects.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation and maintenance of Project Risk Management Plans per company standards.
• Identify risks and opportunities across all project phases (design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, handover).
• Facilitate risk workshops, reviews and brainstorming with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive Risk Registers for projects and bids.
• Assess risks related to cost, schedule, safety, and technical performance and influence delivery strategies.
• Communicate risk insights to leadership and project teams to support decision-making.
