Job summary

Wood is seeking a Lead Project Engineer (Risk Management) to provide specialist risk support across the MEAC region, reporting to the Head of Risk - MEAC. The role requires coordinating with Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commercial teams to identify, assess and mitigate uncertainty throughout project lifecycles on major energy projects.

You will develop risk management plans, facilitate risk workshops, maintain risk registers and deliver risk insights, dashboards and KRIs to project

Qualifications

• Experience solving engineering or construction delivery challenges on complex projects.
• Curious and able to question assumptions.
• Understand how issues affect cost, schedule, quality and outcomes.
• Enjoy working with multidisciplinary teams.
• Interested in developing specialist risk management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of Project Risk Management Plans.
• Identify risks and opportunities across project phases.
• Facilitate risk workshops with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Maintain risk registers and prioritize risks.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and KRIs/KPIs.
• Promote proactive risk management culture across MEAC.
