Job summary

Wood is seeking a Lead Project Engineer (Risk Management) to provide specialist risk management support across the MEAC region, reporting to the Head of Risk - MEAC. The role demands deep expertise in risk identification, analysis and mitigation for major oil, gas and energy projects.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction and commercial teams to enhance project certainty, guide decision-making, and strengthen risk governance across bids and delivery, in a dynamic,

Qualifications

Experience solving engineering or construction delivery challenges on complex projects.
Curious and able to question assumptions.
Understand how issues in one area affect cost, schedule, quality and outcomes.
Enjoy collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Interested in specialist project risk management and quantitative risk analysis.
Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support development and maintenance of Project Risk Management Plans.
Identify risks across all project phases.
Facilitate risk workshops with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
Maintain risk registers and monitor risks.
Prepare risk reports and KRIs/KPIs for leadership and clients.
Support Cost Risk Analysis (CRA) and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA) under guidance.
