What your day will look like

The Senior Project Manager (m / f / d) coordinates the implementation of the Thinkproject business solution and/or manages the operations of the solution, overseeing timelines, risks, revenues, costs, task prioritization, and stakeholder communication during implementation.

• Project Leadership: Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring effective handover using established project management methodologies and best practices.
• Progress & Performance Management: Track project progress, control scope, timelines, and deliverables, and ensure successful completion. Manage project documentation, change management, and risk mitigation.
• Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, define project scope, and set measurable goals and milestones.
• Program / Portfolio Governance: For projects within a larger program, adhere to governance and report to the Project Director; for standalone projects, report to the Project Sponsor.
• Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to internal teams and clients, addressing progress, issues, risks, and facilitating clear communication.
• Timeline & Quality Assurance: Monitor milestones and ensure on-time delivery with high quality standards.
• Resource & Cost Management: Manage external resources and costs, ensuring vendor performance meets expectations.

What you need to fulfill the role

• Higher Professional Education or University degree (or equivalent).
• Construction industry experience is highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel.
• 5-10 years of project management experience, with at least 5 years leading projects and teams.
• Understanding of industry software solutions and familiarity with the TP portfolio is a plus.
• Project Manager certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMI, SCRUM Master) is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of construction, infrastructure, and energy sectors, especially asset management and software implementation projects.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach.
• Leadership skills, inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams.
