Job summary

Pearl Initiative in the UAE seeks a Programme Manager for Governance in Philanthropy to lead the design, development, and execution of governance initiatives for the philanthropic sector in the GCC. The role focuses on building thought leadership, supporting next-generation philanthropy, and ensuring compliant delivery of projects and contracts.

The role requires fluency in English and Arabic, strong leadership, strategic thinking, and experience in fundraising, program development, and impact

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with strong analytical skills.
• Certifications in project management, governance or impact measurement are highly desirable.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience in managing, coordinating, and executing programmes in non-profit or think-tank settings.
• Experience in philanthropy governance, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and impact frameworks is highly desirable.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, planning, and budgeting for the programme aligned with goals and impact.
• Drive programmatic innovation to improve effectiveness and impact.
• Manage cross‑programme collaborations and engage experts and partners.
• Develop fundraising, business development, and revenue strategies for the programme.
• Oversee project management standards, reporting, and risk management.
• Mentor and develop Programme Associate and other staff.
• Produce thought leadership and market insights to position the programme.
