Job summary

Truly HR is assisting an Abu Dhabi-based technology company to recruit a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager. You will oversee purchasing, supplier management, inventory planning, and end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure timely, cost-efficient availability of goods.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years in procurement and supply chain, including 2 years in a managerial role, with strong ERP and Odoo experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
5–7 years of procurement and supply chain experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of sourcing, demand planning, inventory management, logistics and SRM.
Experience in contract negotiation, cost reduction and supply chain optimisation.
Experience with local and international suppliers.
Proficiency in ERP, procurement, inventory-management and reporting systems.
Strong analytical, commercial, communication, negotiation and leadership skills.
Certification such as CIPS, CSCP or CPSM is an advantage.
Experience in technology industry and UAE market is preferred.
Experience using Odoo for procurement, purchase orders, supplier records, inventory coordination, approvals, and reporting workflows.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies.
Manage end-to-end supply chain including sourcing, purchasing, demand planning, inventory control and supplier performance.
Source, evaluate, select and manage local and international suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and service levels.
Prepare and manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
Collaborate with sales, warehouse, logistics, finance and operations to forecast demand and plan purchasing.
Monitor stock levels and balance product availability with inventory costs.
Analyse sales forecasts, consumption patterns and supplier lead times.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and supply chain optimisation.
Develop contingency plans for supplier, transportation and supply chain risks.
Maintain accurate procurement, inventory, contract and supplier records.
Ensure compliance with policies, contracts and regulations.
Prepare procurement budgets, reports and KPIs.
Lead and develop the procurement and supply chain team.
