Y-Axis in Colchester seeks a highly motivated Purchasing Manager to lead end-to-end procurement, ensuring timely supply of components and maintaining procurement policy.

You will negotiate with suppliers to improve EBITDA, manage cost prices, and collaborate with operations and engineering to support production planning and stock control. Onsite supplier visits and trade show participation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• End-to-end procurement process management.
• Cost-saving opportunities to increase GP and mitigate price increases.
• Strong supplier relationship and negotiation skills.
• ERP system data management and lead time accuracy.

Responsabilités

• Own and manage end-to-end procurement process and policy.
• Raise and manage purchase orders accurately and on time.
• Manage supplier selection, onboarding and SLA alignment.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct annual reviews.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities to improve GP.
• Manage budgets related to purchasing and IT assets.
• Oversee ERP data accuracy including lead times and prices.
• Source capital equipment and services as needed.
• Oversee Far East procurement with offshore suppliers and import paperwork.
• Conduct onsite supplier visits and attend trade shows.
