Job summary

Client of Mindfree Consulting in the UAE invites an experienced Procurement and Logistics leader to own sourcing, supplier management, purchasing, contracts, warehousing, transport and compliance across a multi-site network. The role drives cost, quality and continuity of inputs while building resilience and supplier governance within a fast-paced food and beverage platform.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement, logistics, business or related field.
Minimum of five years in procurement, logistics or supply-chain operations with team leadership.
Experience across procurement and logistics, ideally in food/beverage or temperature-controlled, multi-site environments.
Track record of sourcing, supplier management, warehousing, transport and international logistics.
Knowledge of contracts, customs, import/export and trade compliance; halal awareness is a plus.

Responsibilities

Source and select suppliers to meet quality, cost and reliability standards; maintain preferred supplier list.
Qualify new suppliers, diversify critical categories such as beef and sauce.
Run supplier governance and performance scorecards with regular reviews.
Manage purchasing, ordering and contract negotiations; ensure cost efficiency and continuity.
Oversee warehousing, stock control and inventory accuracy; plan transport and distribution.
Coordinate with Finance and Operations for budget adherence and payment-term compliance.
Lead and develop the logistics team; foster continuous improvement and resilience.
Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards across warehousing and transport.
Manage import/export, duties, incoterms and customs clearance timelines.
