Job summary

Royal Joinery in Abu Dhabi seeks a seasoned Procurement Manager to lead sourcing for joinery, fit-out and construction projects. You will develop strategies, manage supplier relationships, and negotiate contracts to secure best value while ensuring quality and compliance.

Minimum 8 years in procurement with 3+ years in a managerial role within UAE. ERP/Oracle or SAP experience and strong stakeholder communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 8+ years procurement experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role within UAE fit-out/joinery/construction.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out, joinery, MEP, and finishing materials, with UAE supplier network.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, vendor management, and cost control for fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle/SAP), procurement software, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to plan procurement activities, manage material schedules, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Good understanding of UAE procurement practices, commercial contracts, and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and project requirements.
• Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and selection of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to achieve best value for the company.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance for quality and timely delivery.
• Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle from material planning to delivery and payment coordination.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, production, and finance teams to meet schedules.
• Monitor market trends, material availability, and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure inventory levels are optimised while preventing shortages or excess stock.
• Review and approve purchase orders and procurement documentation per policies.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, contracts, and procurement regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports, analyse spending trends, and provide performance recommendations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team for continuous improvement.
