Job summary

MediaSource FZC is seeking a senior procurement leader in Abu Dhabi to head the procurement function, drive strategy, manage major tenders, and secure optimal terms with suppliers and contractors. You will collaborate with Projects, Commercial, Finance, Legal, and Design teams to ensure delivery schedules and governance are maintained.

The role requires extensive experience in construction or related sectors, strong negotiation skills, and a track record of delivering cost savings and supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree or MBA would be an advantage.
• Professional qualification such as CIPS or equivalent is preferred.
• Extensive senior-level procurement and supply chain experience, preferably within construction, real estate development, infrastructure, or project-based environments.
• Strong experience managing complex tenders, major procurement packages, supplier negotiations, and contract awards.
• Strong commercial understanding with experience in cost management, contracts, supplier performance, and procurement governance.
• Proven experience leading procurement teams and working with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy.
• Lead procurement activities across projects and corporate requirements.
• Develop procurement plans, sourcing strategies, tendering approaches, and contracting strategies for major projects.
• Oversee tender processes including prequalification, RFP/RFQ issuance, bid evaluation, and contract award recommendations.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers, consultants, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, governance, delegated authorities, and regulations.
• Establish and maintain supplier evaluation, selection, and performance management processes.
• Monitor budgets, commitments, savings, lead times, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Projects, Commercial, Finance, Legal, Design, and other departments to support delivery schedules.
• Identify procurement risks and mitigation strategies.
• Review and approve procurement documents within delegated authority.
• Develop strategic supplier relationships and long-term agreements.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions and supply chain developments.
• Provide regular procurement reports to executive management.
• Lead and develop the procurement team with clear accountability and development.
