Job summary

Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Library is seeking a seasoned strategist to contribute to the development and monitoring of strategic and operational plans. You will analyze internal and external environments to identify priorities, develop KPIs, and monitor progress of initiatives with a focus on performance improvement.

The role requires 5–7 years in Strategy, Institutional Performance, Quality, and Excellence, with a strong emphasis on governance, policy review, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Strategic Planning, Business Administration, Quality and Institutional Excellence, or an equivalent qualification.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in Strategy, Institutional Performance, Quality, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and update of strategic and operational plans and monitor their implementation.
• Conduct internal and external strategic analysis to identify opportunities, challenges, and priorities.
• Develop and review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets, analyze performance results, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor strategic initiatives and projects, including progress, challenges, and associated risks.
• Prepare periodic reports and institutional performance dashboards and provide recommendations for performance improvement.
• Support the implementation of risk management, quality, and institutional excellence requirements, including gap assessments.
• Review and develop institutional policies, processes, and procedures in line with requirements and best practices.
