Job summary

Al Tayer Group in Dubai seeks a results-driven Merchandising Planner to deliver the division's product strategy through seasonal and annual sales plans, forecasting and allocation to maximize sales and gross margin. You will work with Buying and Store teams to develop budgets, monitor performance, adjust markdowns, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely OTB and replenishment decisions.

Qualifications

• University degree in any discipline.
• 3-5 years experience implementing planning in large-scale retail operations.
• Strong analytical skills and industry knowledge; ability to communicate at management level.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver category sales, gross margin and sell-through performance to plan.
• Develop annual sales budgets and forecasts for brands by analyzing seasonal and yearly trends.
• Monitor performance against plan and take actions to maximize sales and margins.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for margin improvement at department level.
• Manage replenishment orders and inventory to achieve targets.
• Coordinate with stores on price changes and product discontinuation.
