Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data.
• Experience in merchandising or retail preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting & Inventory Management: Develop and maintain forecasts for key product categories.
• Analyse historical sales data and market trends to create demand models.
• Monitor stock levels to prevent overstocking and stockouts; coordinate with supply chain.
• Assortment Planning: Collaborate with buying to align assortments with market trends.
• Plan introduction of new products and phase-out of discontinued items.
• Sales Analysis & Performance Reporting: Analyse product performance and provide insights to leadership.
• Cross Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, merchandising and supply chain for launches.
• Financial Planning & Budgeting: Support annual and seasonal budgets for assigned categories.
• Communication & Reporting: Report stock levels, sales performance and supply chain issues.
