You will collaborate with Buying and Operations to align plans with financial goals, guiding Planners through seasonal planning, receipts, and performance reviews.

The role emphasizes leadership, robust forecasting, and cross-functional communication, with travel to stores for performance observations and relationship building.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and financial insight for forecasting and inventory decisions.
• Proven team leadership experience in retail planning.
• Proficiency with forecasting, Excel-based analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Direct development of strategic merchandise financial plans and communicate them across teams.
• Drive sales and margin through forecasting, assortment, and inventory strategies.
• Manage six-month seasonal merchandise plans with Buying and Sales Operations.
• Guide Planners in development, presentation, and defense of seasonal plans.
• Oversee receipts and weeks-of-supply targets; optimize inventory and markdowns.
• Lead Monthly Business Review (MBR) forecasting and reporting; present results.
• Travel to stores to observe performance and build strong working relationships.
• Guide weekly unit plans and key item programs; ensure cross-channel inventories.
