Aldar Education recruits a UAE National Senior Manager - IT to lead IT service operations across its Charter Schools, aligning services with school priorities and strategic group goals. The role requires strategic and operational leadership in service management, change enablement, asset lifecycle, and supplier governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Electronics / Communications Engineering
• ITIL V3 or V4 Certification is a must, or ISO equivalent.
• Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in IT service management, technology operations or infrastructure leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT service operations for Charter Schools, setting the service direction, governance, standards and performance expectations.
• Translate Group Digital and Enterprise Services strategy into operating plans and measurable outcomes for Charter Schools.
• Own the Charter Schools IT service management framework (incident, request, problem, change, knowledge, service catalogue, CMDB, asset, SLA).
• Act as senior escalation point for major incidents and significant service issues.
• Establish reporting dashboards and governance routines for oversight and investment planning.
• Oversee day-to-day technology operations across Charter Schools (end-user devices, classroom tech, networks, cloud services).
• Coordinate with central teams to plan changes, maintenance and upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Maintain compliance with ADEK ICT standards and data protection, privacy and disaster recovery requirements.
