Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Procurement Engineer specializing in infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and marine structures. You will lead the procurement process, source materials, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms while ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in procurement for infrastructure projects, specifically in roads, bridges, and marine structures.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and regulations in the construction industry.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for infrastructure projects, including sourcing, tendering, and contracting.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers to determine materials and equipment needed for construction projects.
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and contract terms for materials and services.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes.
