Job summary

Aramex in UAE seeks a Senior Freight & Logistics Controller to drive financial performance across Freight and Logistics operations, delivering revenue recognition, cost control, budgeting, and profitability analysis.

You will partner with commercial and operations teams, develop dashboards, and provide strategic recommendations to improve margins and support growth. Ideal candidate has 8+ years in finance, 3+ years FP&A/controlling, IFRS knowledge, and advanced Excel with ERP/BI tools.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in finance, ideally in freight/logistics operations.
• At least 3 years in a controlling or FP&A role.
• Strong knowledge of freight/logistics costing models.
• Solid understanding of revenue recognition principles and IFRS.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience with cost allocation, route costing, and yield analysis.
• Advanced Excel, ERP systems (SAP/CW), and BI tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue recognition and validation across Freight and Logistics operations.
• Drive cost and margin analysis to identify profitability improvements.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting for UAE operations.
• Partner with commercial and operational teams to support pricing and tenders.
• Provide data-driven insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align financial objectives with growth.
