Job Description

· Monitor global and local food market trends to assess potential threats to food security.

· Analyze reserve levels and forecast supply/demand dynamics under various scenarios (e.g., climate shocks, geopolitical crises).

· Develop and maintain models for optimal stockpile levels, turnover, and replenishment.

· Support policy formulation for procurement, storage, distribution, and release of strategic food reserves.

· Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and finance teams to ensure efficient supply chain operations.

· Conduct risk assessments and provide early warning insights for food supply disruptions

· Prepare and present detailed reports to internal stakeholders, government agencies, or international partners

· Participate in the development of national food security strategies and contingency plans.

· Ensure data integrity and accuracy of inventory and forecasting systems

· Perform other duties as required by upper management
