Job summary

EDGE Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex engineering and technology projects in a mission-critical environment from Abu Dhabi. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality, coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors while reporting progress to stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years in project management within engineering or defense sectors, strong leadership in matrix organizations, and proficiency with project scheduling and controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of project management experience in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, defense or related industries.
• Proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling, controls, budgeting and risk management.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of contract management and vendor/supplier management.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
• Strong leadership skills within a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of assigned projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
• Monitor performance, milestones and risks; maintain documentation and reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and organizational standards.
• Utilize project management tools to track progress, costs and resources.
• Forecast requirements, manage budgets, analyze variances and support financial reporting.
• Present updates and recommendations to senior management and customers.
• Drive continuous improvement through process enhancements and best practices.
