Job summary

ACCU MECH SPECIALIZED INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY and EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING seeks an experienced Estimator to develop accurate cost assessments for projects in the construction and manufacturing sectors. The role requires analyzing blueprints, conducting labor/material/equipment evaluations, and coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as an Estimator or similar role.
• Proficient in estimation software and Excel.
• Strong understanding of construction methods and labor requirements.
• Excellent analytical and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project specifications and blueprints to determine requirements.
• Develop detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
• Review historical data to refine estimate accuracy.
• Prepare bid proposals and reports for stakeholders.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and terms.
• Monitor market trends and input into estimates.
• Attend site visits to assess conditions and validate details.
• Maintain a database of performance metrics for estimates.
• Ensure estimates comply with regulations and safety standards.
• Coordinate with finance to align budgets with objectives.
• Update estimates as modifications and new information arise.
